Sunny days aren’t a commodity in London, so when you get one you best take it and run. So, we ran…all the way to the Regents Canal. But the travel time is justified if our end goal consists of bread bowls, right?

Quirky little hidden café overlooking the waters.

Their “Breakfast in Bread” only happens on the weekends, so we got right to it.

The Original.

Imagine a plate of English breakfast stuffed in a loaf of sourdough bread and you got it – Cumberland sausage, bacon, tomatoes, oyster mushrooms, spinach and a free range egg topped with cheese.

Their Smoked Salmon.

Crispy sourdough bread filled with salmon, mushroom, spinach, leeks and a free range egg. They were nice enough to swap out the crème fraiche for avocado on request. Can I just say, out of this world??

Their Hot Stuff.

Probably our favorite out of the three with chorizo, hot beans, red peppers, mushrooms, spinach a free range egg, sprinkled with a hand full of cheese. Highly recommend if you’re a spicy eater.

Left with full stomachs, flour-dusted hands (peeling bread apart is harder than it looks) and conversation of our next return. Highlights of this place are questionably their bread bowls, amicable service and upbeat café atmosphere (view doesn’t hurt either). Definitely one of my favorite brunch spots in London up to date.
