While the small café is hidden within a quiet residential area close to Old Street, the place is buzzing during weekend brunch. We waited around 40minutes before being seated and were eager to place our orders (let’s just say no one had breakfast in anticipation for this brunch).
Organic Poached eggs with Asparagus
Loved the creativity of the lime and beetroot hollandaise sauce.
Mixed chorizo, peas, ham and chipotle tomato & capsicum sauce spread upon arepa cornbread served with fried plantains and a gooey fried egg. Personally wasn’t a big fan of the bread and the mix was a bit bland for me.
Harissa Baked Eggs.
Loved dipping my sourdough bread into the smoky, chili sauce mixed with their creamy hummus. Highly recommended.
Their overall service was extremely amicable and dishes were beautifully presented. I was a bit sad that they weren’t serving their usual Coconut Rice Pudding (was so excited to try), but that’s just more of a reason to visit again next time!
